Miguel Herrera

Miguel Herrera is the Chief Operating Officer of Total Impact Capital, responsible for building its asset management business.
Miguel was a co-founding partner of Quona Capital, a leading Venture Capital Fund Manager in the Fintech Impact space, with portfolio companies throughout the developing world. Before Quona, Miguel was an investor at Accion Investments, a pioneer in microfinance equity. He has served as a Board member of banks, startups, funds, fund of funds, CVCs, and industry associations. His finance experience also includes stints in capital markets and investment banking at Citigroup, RBC, and Scotiabank.
Miguel holds a BAH from Queen’s University in Ontario and an MBA from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia.

Open ocean sailing, swimming, kayaking, and surfing. When not in the water, Miguel enjoys hiking in the mountains of British Columbia with his Saint Bernard Samson.
