Daniel Duman is an Advisor at Total Impact Capital. In his tenure at TOTAL, he has focused on developing financial solutions to close the capital gap in emerging markets.

Background:

Daniel J. Duman brings over 35 years of structured and private finance experience to TOTAL Impact Capital and the development finance sector. He has developed a focus on global health issues, having worked briefly in the Global Health Bureau at USAID. In 2015, he served as a Governance Advisor to the Government of Rwanda (GoR), working on behalf of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change based in Kigali, Rwanda, where he focused on the development of the Kigali Innovation City and the associated $250 million Angaza Innovation Fund in which he worked with the GoR to commit up to $30 million. Before shifting to international development in 2014, he built an advisory and private equity practice that closed over $750 million in financings over 23 years. 

Daniel holds a BA from New York University, an MA from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and in 2014 completed a second MSc in International Development Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
