Vasundhara Dash

Vasundhara (Vasu) is an Associate at TOTAL, where she works on structuring financing for carbon and climate finance, energy and water access, and healthcare across Africa and South Asia. She brings over a decade of experience in climate, international development, strategy, and operations across emerging markets, leading programs with the UN and national and local governments at the intersection of policy design and grassroots action.
With the Government of India, she shaped flagship education, skilling, and entrepreneurship programs for underserved youth and led local economic development and digital innovation initiatives in remote, conflict-affected regions, under the Prime Minister’s Fellowship and the Ministry of Skills Development. At UNDP, she led large-scale programs on women’s economic empowerment and launched technology solutions to strengthen service delivery. She co-developed the UN Climate Convention’s Resilience Hubs at COP26 and 27, and has contributed to energy access and biodiversity programs across South Asia through several projects that integrated ecosystem protection with rural livelihoods.
Vasu holds an MPA from Harvard University and an MS in Environmental Science and Policy.

Trained in classical Indian dance and hatha yoga, she enjoys writing, hiking, museums, and astronomy.
